which will be held on beautiful Salt Spring Island from Saturday, May 9th until Wednesday, May 13.

We're very excited about this course. Over the last decade, fiction and non fiction have been moving closer - and even treading on each other's toes. Writers from each genre have much to offer the other. We'll be looking in some depth at story-telling and story structure (Sunday), at characterisation, (Monday), and at using factual and imaginary research (Tuesday). At the same time, we'll engage in a continuous exploration of both the common ground, and the differences, between the two genres.

Participants will have time to explore the restaurants and galleries of Ganges.
